Bernings Mill Bridge

The following photos show the bridge over the Crow River at Bernings Mill, located between Rogers and St. Michael along the old Territorial Road.  The bridge is in the process of being replaced by a newer structure a short ways to the east.  According to MnDOT logs, the bridge was built in 1931, 3 years before the former route MN 152 was routed across it.  The bridge and adjoining roadways reverted to county control when MN 152 was relocated to what is now I-94 in the mid-50s.

Here is an aerial view of the area, dated 1991, from Terraserver.

All photos were taken by Glenn Olson in November, 2005.
