Interstate 24 in Tennessee

Eastbound Photos

	A rare (for Interstates) "winding road" sign on eastbound I-24, just east of the US 64 interchange (Exit 127).  Photo taken July 4, 1999.
	Near the top of the Monteagle Mountain downgrade on eastbound I-24.  The eastbound drop is 3 lanes along its entire length.  The yellow sign to the right is for a "runaway truck ramp" about a mile down on the left.  Photo taken July 4, 1999.
	Speed limit signs heading downgrade.  Cars are 55 MPH, while trucks are 45 MPH.  Photo taken July 4, 1999.

	Near the bottom of the Monteagle grade.  The right lane ends about 1/2 mile past the curve, and the speed limit goes back up to 70 MPH.  Photo taken July 4, 1999.
	Overhead BGS on eastbound I-24, approaching downtown Chattanooga.  Although unsigned here, US 27 is hidden I-124.
