Interstate 15 and California State Highway 15 in the San Diego area

Interstate 15/California 15 is a north-south freeway in the San Diego area, beginning at I-5 near the 32nd Street Naval Station and extending north, connecting to Riverside, San Bernardino, and Las Vegas. CalTrans is in the process of upgrading the segment between I-5 and I-8 to Interstate standard, at which point I-15 will extend all the way to I-5. Currently, I-15 ends at I-8 and the segment south of I-8 is signed as CA 15.
