Notes:
Relatively minor east-west route. For those who don't want to bother with
high-traffic routes, this serves as a shortcut of sorts between I-20 west and
I-55 north, although it is a narrow, winding 2-lane road for the most part.
Some have called for 4-laning it, to the point where bills were introduced to the Legislature for it, but so far have not been successful.
What I'd Do:
4-lane it (with some straightening) between I-20 and I-55 to serve as an outer bypass of the
rapidly-growing Jackson area in this quadrant.
